My role
- UX researcher, UI designer.
Target audience
- Individuals, either students or professionals, with basic to moderate proficiency in Python.
Problem Statement
It's increasingly challenging for today's students to locate a platform that offers all the necessary resources for ongoing skill development.
- The main pain point is that beginners lack a structured plan to follow, which would boost their confidence in their knowledge.
- Usually, current platforms directly offer a solution, skipping the hint feature that could allow students to brainstorm the solution.
- A feedback section regarding their coding solutions would help them improve their coding skills and better understand the decisions they made.
- The lack of a wide range of exercises at various difficulty levels that could gradually guide them to tackle more challenging problems by first addressing the easier ones.
- The inability to track their progress on the platform;
Possible solutions
- Offer a wide range of exercises at various difficulty levels to the platform that build up to a complex project.
- Add the Hint feature for each exercise.
- Create a feedback feature where students can send their solutions and receive an answer from their tutor.
